A partner and founder of K2S Architects, Kimmo Lintula has a Master’s degree from Helsinki University of Technology (2000) and was Professor Adjunct at Aalto University School of Art, Design and Architecture (2015–2022). Before establishing his own practice, he worked with APRT Architects as the principal designer for the Sibelius Concert Hall in Lahti, Finland. Kimmo Lintula’s most notable works are Kamppi Chapel; the refurbishment and extension of the Helsinki Olympic Stadium; Enter-Sipoo Upper Secondary School; Hotel Paasitorni; Arctia Headquarters; Fazer Visitor Center; Vaasa University; Ylivieska Church and Makasiiniranta in Helsinki South Harbour. He has received several prizes and awards and has served as a juror in both Finnish and international competitions.
